Influent and effluent air samples will be obtained from the SUES and submitted to a
California State-certified Laboratory for analysis of TPH as gasoline BTEX and oxygenates using
EPA Method 8260B. Destruction efficiency for the soil gas will be a minimum of 100%.
<j Therefore, the anticipated emission-rates discharged to the atmosphere is estimated to be zero
pounds per day using 100 percent destruction.efficiency.
We anticipate operating the remediation system for a minimum of 12 months. The estimated
=1 operating schedule is 24 hours per day at seven days per week. The groundwater will be
= continuously monitored on.a quarterly basis to evaluate the effectiveness of the air sparging/soil
-- vapor extraction system.
_j Permitting
The treatment system will be designed and constructed in accordance with the city of Stockton
building, electric and fire codes. Subsequent to the installation of the air sparging/soil vapor
j extraction system equipment,the as built system will be permitted for operation following
inspection from San Joaquin County Public Health Services(SJCPHS),the City of Stockton Public
Works Department(SPWD)and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District
(SJVAPCD).
'=-
INK
