The soil has been disc with weeds and found fallow. The
first four feet were found to be constant. The test ran, were
according to the San Joaquin Co. Standard, there was one, 6 inch
test hole performed on each site, each test hole was 4 feet deep.
The test results which are hereby included in the report. Also
find enclosed a copy of the soils map for this area. For
location of the test pit, and locations of holes see a copy of
the proposed tentative map included for the appendix.
VII CONCLUSION
Based on the results of the percolation test, the soil
profile, and past performance of the existing septic system it is
our opinion that the subject property is well suited for the
continued use of the present septic system.
Although the depth of dry well is known, according to the
San Joaquin County Ordinance 5-49 established in 1949, the
maximum depth of dry wells was established as 25 feet. Even the
maximum depth, the existing dry well should be well above the
present ground water. Based on this information the existing
system and new proposed septic system would not adversely affect
the quality of the ground water in the area.
VIII LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information
provided regarding the existing and proposed development and on
the site conditions as they existed at the time of excavating of
test pits and the percolation test . It was assumed that the test
pit and percolation test results were representative of the
subsurface conditions in the general area.
It is our professional opinion the findings and statements
do not constitute a guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied.
Ve y truly y urs,
V int H. unha, P_E. y'C
-57
, .
w
