Guardino and Crawford Construction Page 2 Of 2
517 West Fremont Street October 14, 2013
Stockton, California 95201
A sensitive receptor survey that includes, but is not limited to, all water supply wells
within 2,000 feet of the source area;
Estimates of dissolved and adsorbed contaminant mass at this site supported by
calculations; and
An assessment of the potential for vapor intrusion inside buildings located at the site.
Therefore, the EHD directs that a CSM that includes this information be submitted to this
agency by 31 December 2013.
In the second-quarter 2013 report, AGE has recommended that during the next sampling event
scheduled for November 2013 , monitoring wells MWA through MW-8, extraction well EW-1 ,
and observation wells OB-1 and 013-2 be sampled for groundwater analysis. Instead , based on
the analytical data submitted from the May 2013 sampling event and historical groundwater
analytical data , the EHD directs that MW-3 through MW-8 be removed from the sampling
schedule. Only collect groundwater samples semi-annually from MWA , MW-2, OBA , OB-2 and
EWA and analyze the groundwater for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) ;
benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX) ; methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) ;
tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME) ; and 1 ,2-dichloroethane (1 ,2-DCA) . Also, please submit the
second-quarter 2013 report to GeoTracker immediately.
Please contact Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-9852 or by email at vmccartney@sjcehd . com if
you have any questions .
Sincerely, !EHSNuel
Victoria L.
