Guardino & Crawford 3 - April 2012 <br /> Remediation Summary <br /> • Free Product: No free product was documented throughout the life of this case. <br /> • Soil Excavation: Unknown volume of impacted soil was removed and disposed offsite in <br /> 2000. <br /> • In-Situ Soil/ Groundwater Remediation : Soil vapor extraction and air sparging , <br /> proposed , currently in public comment. <br /> General Site Conditions <br /> • Geology and Hydrogeology: The Site is underlain by interbedded and intermixed sand , <br /> silt and clay. The depth to groundwater is approximately 14 feet bgs and the <br /> groundwater gradient is northeast at approximately 0. 002 ft/ft. The nearest surface <br /> water body is McLeod Lake, which is approximately 1000 feet south of the Site. <br /> • Groundwater Trends: There are more than 12 years of groundwater monitoring data for <br /> this Site. The Fund will review this site next year to <br /> track progress. <br />
