13 August 2004
AGE-NC Project No . 95-0167
Laboratory reports for the soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory QA/QC reports, and sample
chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with findings and recommendations.
2.4. WELL COMPLETION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY
Following drilling of each soil boring, ground water monitoring wells will be installed within the
borehole. Following well installation, each well will be developed to maximize water flow and
minimize the amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing. Each
well will also be surveyedby a state licensed surveyor. Procedures for well installation, development
and surveying are presented in Sections 3 .4. and 3 . 5 . .
2.5 , GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
Ground water monitoring and sampling of each newly installed ground water monitoring well will
be conducted on a quarterly basis (in conjunction with the six existing monitoring wells) unless an
alternate schedule or suspension of monitoring is approved by the EHD. Ground water monitoring
activities will include recording depth to groundwater measurements and collection of groundwater
samples. Ground water sample collection procedures are described in Section 3 .6 . 1
Groundwater samples will be analyzedby aDHS-certified laboratory for the following constituents:
• TPH-g and TPH-d in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified; and
• BTEX and the fuel additives DIPE, ETBE, MTBE, TAME, TBA, 1 ,2-DCA, EDB in
accordance with EPA Method 8260B.
Laboratory reports for the ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory QA/QC reports, and
sample chain-of-custody documentation will be presented in a report with findings and
recommendations.
2. 6 . REPORT PREPARATION
Following the CPT boring advancement, monitoring well installation, sample collection and
analysis, a report will be prepared presenting the findings. The report will include a description of
work performed, results of the ground water and soil sampling and analysis, conclusions and
recommendations. The report will be in a format acceptable to RWQCB guidelines, and will be
reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist.
.Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
t
