INTRODUCTION <br /> Our office has been retained by Baumbach & Piazza, Civil <br /> Engineers , to perform a soil suitability study for the Metler <br /> property located at 14413 N Locust Tree Rd , Lodi , California. The <br /> purpose of the study is to determine the suitability of the <br /> property for septic tank usage . The study was performed according <br /> to the requirements of Section 9-10100 ( c ) of San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinances. This report presents the results of our study. <br /> II . PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The area where the property is Located is currently zoned AG- <br /> 40 , for general agricultural. use . The subject Metler property <br /> consist of an approximate 20 acre rectangular parcel that is 331 <br /> feet by 2624 feet . The Metler residence is located in the NE corner <br /> of the parcel . It is proposed to split off 1 . 5 acres that the <br /> residence is located on from the remaining 18 . 5 acres ( see <br /> Tentative Parcel. Map in the Appendix ) . No changes in the land use <br /> are proposed at this time . <br /> III . PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> Except for where the residence is located the site is <br /> presently cultivated in grape vines. There is a small <br /> orchard located immediatel-y to the south of the residence . When <br /> the Metlers purchasPu the entire parcel 31 years ago one half of <br /> it was a walnut orchard and the other half a vineyard . Since that <br /> time the, walni.It orchard has been removed and planted in grape <br /> vines . <br /> 1 <br />
