IV EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE
The Metler residence is currently on a septic system
consisting of a septic tank and a single ( estimated ) 100 foot leach
line with a dry well at the end. Depth of the dry well is unknown.
The leach line is located on the north side of the backyard and
runs in a east west direction . A house was demolished to allow for
construction of the Metler residence 31 years ago . The previous
house was also on a septic system that was abandoned , however, it
was located on the south side of the current backyard.
The Metlers have had no problems with their septic system in
the 31 years of its existence . A permit for the original
construction of the septic system is no longer on file with the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Division.
There is presently no proposed construction or changes to the
existing septic system.
There are two neighbors that are in reasonable close proximity
to the Metler residence .
