Dee Anne Watkins, County Counsel, said there is no project before the Commission tonight. It is just a
General Plan and Zoning change. A will serve letter would only be required when a project application is
submitted.
Kerry Sullivan said it appears this site does have sewer based on the bill the applicant provided.
Commissioner Solari said he is satisfied after seeing the bill.
Commissioner Eley said he understands the concerns about traffic, but the uses that can be put there are
limited. A nice commercial office would be fine, but he would not approve a larger use.
MOTION:
It was moved, seconded (Demichelis/Moni), and passed by a unanimous roll call vote (7-0)to:
1. Approve the Negative Declaration;
2. Recommend that the Board of Supervisors adopt a motion of intent to approve General Plan
Amendment Application No. GP-00-7 based on the ability to make the required "Basis for General
Plan Amendment;" and
3. Recommend that the Board of Supervisors adopt a motion of intent to approve Zone Reclassification
Application No. ZR-00-8 based on the ability to make the required "Bases for Zone Reclassification."
VOTE:
AYES: HOWARD, ELEY, MORRI, SOLARI, STOCKAR, DEMICHELIS, CARTER
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
PC MINUTES -6- PC: 9-21-00
