Training programs for all employees and annual training, including <br /> refresher courses, shall include familiarity with the facility's Emergency response plans and procedures in the event <br /> of a release or threatened release of a hazardous material. Training shall cover, but not limited to, all of the <br /> following: <br /> (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified <br /> program agency. <br /> (B) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment. <br /> (C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the business site. <br /> These training programs may take into consideration of each employee. Immediately prepare or update the facility's <br /> training program, log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, <br /> upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 10 HSC 25508.1(a)-(f) Failed to submit revisions to business plan within 30 days of substantial change in operations. <br /> During the inspection, two 55 gallon waste oil drums, two 300 gallon totes of sodium hydroxide, twelve 8 gallon <br /> propane cylinders, sixty 25 pound containers of Freon, 900 gallons of bleach vs. 300 gallons, and 505 cubic feet vs. <br /> 50 pounds of acetylene were found on site and the updated information has not been submitted. Within 30 days of <br /> one the following events, business shall electronically update the information submitted to the California <br /> Environmental Reporting System (CERS): <br /> -A 100 percent or more increase in the quantity of a previously disclosed material. <br /> -Any handling of a previously undisclosed hazardous materials <br /> -A change of business address, business ownership, or business name. <br /> Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the <br /> correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the completed inspection report. <br /> Business has been at this location since May 2019 <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
