Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> incorporating proposed staff and customer use, indicating that the area is suitable for septic <br /> b tank usage. This must be performed prior to approval of Improvement Plan and/or Grading <br /> Plan (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading <br /> 11 study is required, and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of submittal to <br /> MAI Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> _,B' A qualified environmental professional shall prepare a surface and subsurface <br /> contamination report, identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface <br /> contamination caused by past or current land uses. The report shall include evaluation of <br /> non-point source of hazardous materials, including agricultural chemical residues, as well <br /> V as potential point sources, such as fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage <br /> areas. If the report indicates there is contamination, corrective action shall be taken, as <br /> ' recommended in the report and concurred with by the Environmental Health prior to <br /> ' approval of Improvement Plan and/or Grading Plan (San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title, Section 9-905.12(a)(c)). <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> -7 <br />
