Samples <br /> are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> oo D. An Improvement Plan shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department showing <br /> the proposed location of the wells and the sewage disposal areas as determined by the Soil <br /> Suitability Study prior to approval of Improvement Plan and/or Grading Plan. <br /> b� _E�Prior to approval of Improvement Plan and/or Grading Plan, the agricultural well must be <br /> repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> 0 Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain <br /> an air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The <br /> discharge pipe shall also have two 1/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of <br /> the pipe and opposite each other or a back-flow device approved by San Joaquin <br /> County must be installed. <br />
