We are property
owners nearby. We farm approximately 100 acres. We do not believe a subdivision
should be granted in this area. There is a 40 acre minimum in the area and most of us farm
in excess of 40 acres. With all of the farm equipment, tractors, spray equipment being
used, a subdivison would be out of place. We also run a walnut huller during the season
with trucks going in and out. To have 27 neighbors in this vast area of farmland is
unthinkable. There are subdivisions taking over the farmland in neighboring areas, lets not
let it happen here.
The property in question is zoned AG-40. It was zoned AG-40 when it was recently
purchased. The new owners were aware of this. Why should those of us, who have owned
this property for many years, be inconvenienced with a subdivison nearby.
Please give our comments your consideration when making your decision. We would like
to receive notice of the staff determination for this project.
Thank you.
Yours truly,
Dale and Eileen Kul
22844 S.
