Reviewing and approving this project health and safety plan. <br />` ;I <br /> 4.2 SITE SAFETY OFFICER (Dames & Moore) <br /> rThe Site Safety Officer's (SSO) duties may be carried out by the PM or <br /> �+ other Dames & Moore site manager. The SSO, unless specifically directed b this <br /> g �I P Y Y <br /> HSP, does not offer or otherwise provide health and safety guidance to any <br /> subcontractor unless there is an imminent endangerment to personnel, in which <br /> caseidance is to be directed to the SSR only . The SSO: <br /> g'� Y <br /> ' 1. Implements project Health and Safety Plans, and reports any <br /> deviations from the anticipated conditions described in the plan to <br /> the PM, and, if necessary, the DHSM. <br /> 2. <br /> 2. Determines that monitoring equipment is used properly by D&M <br /> personnel and is calibrated in ',accordance with manufacturer's <br /> instructions or other standards, and that results are properly <br /> r recorded and filed. (See Attachments for Daily Calibration Check <br /> L Sheet) . <br /> R <br /> 3. Checks with the OSC or DHSM to see '!that assigned D&M personnel have <br /> current Fit-For-Duty medical and training authorizations. f <br /> 4. Assumes any other duties as directed by the PM or DHSM. <br /> C <br /> 5. Identifies all D&M personnel withJspecial medical problems (e.g. , <br /> L allergies, perforated eardrum, etc!!.) <br /> 6.
