L; 5.7 HEAVY EQUIPMENT <br /> Operation of heavy equipment in drilling or other activities presents <br /> L potential physical hazards to personnel. The 'following precautions should be <br /> observed whenever heavy equipment is in use: <br /> Go Personal <br /> protective equipment (PPE) such as' steel-toed shoes, safety <br /> glasses or goggles, and hard hats should 'be worn whenever such equipment <br /> is present. <br /> o Personnel should at all times be aware of the location and operation of <br /> heavy equipment, and takerecautions to la <br /> p av oid getting in the way of its <br /> operation.
