i <br /> 3.2.3 Site Safety&Health Officer <br /> 4 The SSHO will assist the Program SHM in implementing the 'HASP-and will be responsible for <br /> the following: <br /> • Assist and represent the SHM in on-site training and the continued on-site <br /> implementation and enforcement of the HASP <br /> • Be assigned to the Site on a full-time basis for the duration of field activities <br /> • Ensure site compliance with specified safety and health requirements, OSHA <br /> regulations and all aspects of the HASP including, but not limited to, activity <br /> hazard analysis, air monitoring, use of PPE, decontamination, site control, <br /> standard operating procedures used to minimize'l hazards, safe use of engineering <br /> control,the emergency response plan, and documenting results of site inspections <br /> Assure that all personnel on-site are knowled eable with the provisions <br /> plan g p isions of this <br /> Stop work, if unacceptable safety and health co <br /> rditioris exist, and take necessary <br /> action to re-establish and maintain safe workingconditions <br /> Coordinate any necessary modifications to the HASP with the SHM and PM !! <br /> I <br /> 3.2.4 Field Personnel <br /> All field personnel assigned to the project, including subcontractor personnel will follow the j <br /> requirements of the HASP andwill be responsible for the following: <br /> • At all times acting in a responsible and cautious manner in order to prevent <br /> } accident, injury, and/or exposure to themselves or their co-workers <br /> • Reporting any and all accidents, injuries, exposures, and/or near misses to the <br /> SSHO or the PM <br /> k <br /> • Attending and participating in all tailgate safety meetings conducted during the <br /> project <br /> LI I <br /> • Following instructions and directions from the S�SHO and PM <br /> i <br /> • Utilizing the PPE provided and specified for use <br /> L <br /> • Following the field safety procedures for safe work practices, buddy system, <br /> communication, site control, decontamination, evacuations, and related <br /> emergency procedures <br /> • Performing only those tasks that they have been instructed to perform and that <br /> they believe they are trained, qualified and capable at the time of assignment } <br /> �4 <br /> sacDP-N.•ICm111dlin9WalaLShar",gjec1sI0J71778407.aa.do 3-3 <br /> 1217100 <br /> k <br />
