PELTIER ROAD <br /> ACAMPO, CALIFORNIA <br /> TERRACON PROJECT NUMBER: NA197081 <br /> Our office was contacted by Mr. Mike Vlach of Foothill Engineering to conduct a Soil <br /> Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study (SSNLS) for the property at 10516 E. Peltier Road, Acampo, <br /> California, San Joaquin County (SJC). The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, <br /> to the greatest degree possible, San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated September 25, 2007 and Nitrate Loading <br /> Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> 1.0 SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> 1.1 Introduction and Development <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether site soils are suitable for <br /> septic system usage. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work <br /> included conducting percolation tests that meet absorption rates as specified by EHD. A review <br /> of published soil information, geologic maps, and groundwater information was also performed. <br /> Terracon previously prepared a Surface Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) for the site <br /> dated April 17, 2018 (Terracon Project No. NA177074). Portions of the SSCR were used to <br /> prepare the SSNLS. <br /> 1.1.1 Site Description <br /> The site consists of an approximately 37.81-acre tract of land located at 10516 E. Peltier Road, <br /> Acampo, California, San Joaquin County, California, Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 017-260-30 <br /> and 017-260-31. APN 017-260-30 is an approximately 35.81-acre tract of fallow agricultural land. <br /> APN 014-260-31 is a 2.0-acre tract of land improved with a three bedroom two bathroom <br /> residence with garage, three shop buildings, a break room, restroom, domestic well and <br /> agricultural well. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department website, the site is <br /> zoned AG-40, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. <br /> Responsive■ Resourceful ■ Reliable 3 <br />
