According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> (www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us), the Site is zoned AG-40, General Agriculture with new lots <br /> of a minimum 40 acres. This zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural <br /> lands for the continuation of commercial agriculture enterprises." <br /> Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage <br /> Existing Septic System <br /> Six septic systems currently exist on the Site, one to serve each house, one for the <br /> stable, and one for the apartments in the barn. <br /> Proposed Septic System <br /> No new construction is proposed. <br /> On-Site Septic Permit History <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department septic permit files were <br /> searched for the Site addresses. A total of 12 permits were identified: <br /> • October 1965 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. A 30-foot <br /> leach line with a 33-inch diameter by 25 to 40-foot deep seepage pit was added <br /> to the existing system (15737). <br /> • November 1967 permit for new septic system at residence. The system utilized <br /> an 800-gallon septic tank, a 40-foot leach line, and a 33-inch diameter by 25-foot <br /> deep seepage pit (15757). <br /> • June 1985 permit for new septic system at mobile home. The system utilized a <br /> 1,200-gallon septic tank, two 40-foot leach lines, and two 33-inch diameter by 25- <br /> foot deep seepage pits (15757). <br /> • April 1990 permit for repair to existing septic system at residence. A 1,600-gallon <br /> septic tank replaced the existing tank (15757). <br /> • July 2001 permit indicating that septic system at mobile home is out of service <br /> (15757). <br /> • August 2001 permit to reconnect septic system at mobile home (15757). <br /> • November 2002 permit for new septic system at horse barn. The system utilized <br /> a 1,200-gallon septic tank, two 42-foot leach lines, and two 36-inch diameter by <br /> 25-foot deep seepage pits (15757). <br /> LOGE 1943 Page 2 <br />
