March 25, 2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05003A <br /> 3.L3 San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services <br /> The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES) web site'was searched on March 21, <br /> 2005 in an attempt to determine whether a hazardous materials inventory is on file for the subject <br /> property. No records were found for the subject property on Wildwood Road. <br /> According to Ms. Michelle Halliwell of the OES, one incident report is on file at that agency for <br /> properties within one-quarter mile of the subject property'. This 1996 incident involved one empty 55- <br /> gallon plastic barrel abandoned on Wildwood Road. The incident report has been included m <br /> Appendix F. <br /> A review of the "Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge" files within one-quarter mile of the <br /> subject property was conducted on March 2,2005 at the OES'. No notices were found in the 95215 <br /> or 95320 zip codes within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 3.L4 Collegeville Fire Prevention District <br /> The Collegeville Fire Protection District was contacted by telephone regarding hazardous materials <br /> incidents on or in the vicinity of the subject property. Mr. Dennis Faist, Fire Chief,indicated that he <br /> has no knowledge of any incidents in the vicinity of the subject property except for car fires. Mr.Faist <br /> stated that the Fire Protection District has been trained to fight fires at the Wildwood Liquefier,but that <br /> he is not aware of any spills or incidents at that location to date'. (, J <br /> 3.L9 San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's office10 was contacted regarding use of <br /> agricultural chemicals on the subject property. Ms.Hazel Gallego of the Agricultural Commissioner's <br /> office found records for the subject property under the name of Nilsson Farms Inc. (Appendix F). <br /> Based on these records,it appears that corn and tomatoes were grown on the property in 2004, and <br /> tomatoes were grown in 2005. Chemical permits were identified for 2004 and 2005,and chemical use >•I� <br /> reports were identified for 2004 only.
