Based on this source,it appears that, of the agricultural chemicals reportedly
applied to the subject property, only Danitrol (containing fenpropathrin) is an RUP. The Pesticide
Management Education Program(PMEP)at Cornell University web site12 was consulted for additional
information on this chemical.
According to the PMEP, fenpropathrin has a reported half- life of 33 to 34 days under aerobic soil
conditions. "The end-use product (Danitol 2.4 EC Spray) has moderate to low acute oral, dermal,
inhalation and eye/skin irritation toxicity"(PMEP,fenpropathrin(Danitol)Chemical Fact Sheet,1989).
11U.S.Environmental Protection Agency(EPA),June 2003,Restricted Use Products(RUP)Report.
12Cornell University,2004,Pesticide Management Education Program,http://pmep.cce.comeR.edu/.
