Information pertaining to the number and length of the existing leach lines was not
found in the EHD records. The existing detached restroom is connected to a 1,200-gallon septic
tank with a 30 foot long by 40 foot wide by 3.5 foot deep filter bed.
1 .3.3 Discussion of On-Site Septic Tank Repair
One repair permit number SR0068605 was issued in 2013 for a septic tank replacement to the
existing residence.
1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed
a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarthTM. The vicinity of the site
consists of agricultural land. The assumption was made that each building/cluster of buildings
surrounding the site has one septic system. Using this method, we determined there is one septic
system within '/4 mile of the site. Refer to Section 1.3.5 for a history of septic permits in the site
vicinity.
1.3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Online septic permits available on the EHD website were reviewed for properties adjacent to the
site.
