Cv�K First Quarter 2012 Status Summary Report <br /> Former Tosco Bulk Terminal No.10013 <br /> April 30,2012 <br /> 1 <br /> ' Blanks (method) <br /> • Spikes (surrogates, laboratory control samples, and matrix spikes) <br /> • Duplicates (laboratory control spikes, and matrix spikes) <br /> ' Sample integrity (chain-of-custody documentation, sample preservation, and holding <br /> time compliance) <br /> • Lab qualifiers (to determine impact on sample results) <br /> ' Based on the QA/QC evaluation of above parameters, no systematic problems were <br /> detected and the overall data objectives were met. All samples were analyzed within the <br /> method-specific holding time criteria. <br /> ' The data reviewed are of acceptable precision and accuracy for project purposes. It should be <br /> noted however that, according to the laboratory analytical report, an A52 qualifier was assigned <br /> to detectable concentrations of TPH-d. The A52 qualifier indicates that the chromatogram for <br /> that sample was not typical of diesel. <br /> WASTE DISPOSAL <br /> Purge water generated during quarterly monitoring and sampling was temporarily stored on site <br /> in labeled 55-gallon drums, and removed on March 23, 2012 by an approved waste hauler and <br /> disposed of at the Crosby and Overton disposal facility in Long Beach, California. A copy of the <br /> waste manifest is included in Attachment C. <br /> ' QUARTERLY REMEDIAL ACTIVITIES <br /> No Active remediation is currently being performed at the site. <br /> RECENT SUBMITTALS <br /> ' ATC, Fourth Quarter and Annual 2011 Status Summary Report, dated February 1, 2012. <br /> • ATC, No Further Action Request report, dated March 30, 2012. <br /> ' FIRST QUARTER 2012 COMPLETED SITE ACTIVITIES: <br /> • ATC performed quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling on March 5 and 6, 2012. <br /> ' SECOND QUARTER 2012 PLANNED SITE ACTIVITIES: <br /> ' ATC to conduct quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling activities. <br /> Please note, the Board of Directors of ConocoPhillips announced that it would pursue <br /> the separation of the Refining & Marketing business and the Exploration & Production <br /> into two separate stand-alone companies.
