7.0 Decontamination <br /> The project area should be divided into three work zones exclusion zone (EZ), a contami- <br /> nation reduction zone (CRZ), and a support zone The Project FC will be responsible for <br /> designation of the work zones The EZ will include any area where chemical contamination <br /> may occur and will be marked with barrier tape or other visible means to wam personnel of <br /> the hazards <br /> Only IT personnel and authorized visitors who have completed 40-hour hazardous waste <br /> training and who are wearing the required PPE will be allowed within this zone <br /> Tf <br /> Immediately adjacent to the EZ, a decontamination area for equipment and personnel will be <br /> established, if necessary This area will also be delineated with traffic cones and/or banner <br /> c <br /> tape The remainder of the IT project area will be designated as the support zone No <br /> special markings or warning labels are required for this area <br /> 7.1 Personnel Decontamination <br /> All personnel working in the EZ must undergo personnel decontamination prior to entering <br /> the support zone. The personnel decontamination area shall consist of the following stations <br /> Station 7, Personnel leaving the EZ will remove any gross contamination from their outer <br /> ' clothing and boots <br /> J <br /> Station 2, Personnel will remove their Tyvek coveralls and gloves Personnel will remove <br /> their re if used <br /> respirators ( ), hard hats, and boots <br /> Station <br /> 3 Personnel will thoroughly wash their hands and face before leaving the CRZ <br /> Respirators will be sanitized and then placed in a clean plastic ziplock bag <br /> MZ/11-29-9MM/HASP/M-0037jAF 7_1 <br />
