Our comments
are presented in the attached memorandum.
Our review finds that based on a predominant ground water flow direction to {
the southwest and west, an additional monitoring well is needed to determine
the extent of contamination downgradient of MW-1. Furthermore, the report is
deficient because it did not interpret the results or provide recommendations
for future work. Therefore, by 5 May 1993 please submit a work plan for
installation of a monitoring well to define the extent of ground water
contamination downgradient from MW-1. In addition to monitoring well
installation, the work plan shall include a recommendation for future work and
response to our comments on the report.
Please call me at (916) 255-3049 if you have any questions.
00
0
PHILIP S.
