A <br /> A� S <br /> ,. <br /> c 'i:, 7 : <br /> ADESA GOLDEN GATE <br /> Emergency Action Plan <br /> Purpose: <br /> This Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is in place to ensure employee safety from <br /> fire and other emergencies. It provides a written document detailing the actions <br /> and procedures to be followed in case of emergencies. <br /> At the time of an emergency, employees should know what type of evacuation is <br /> necessary and what their role is in carrying out this plan. In some cases, where <br /> the emergency is very grave, total and immediate evacuation of all employees is <br /> necessary. In other emergencies, a partial evacuation of nonessential employees <br /> with a delayed evacuation of others may be necessary for continued facility <br /> operation. In some cases, only those employees in the immediate area of the <br /> emergency may be expected to evacuate or move to a safe area. Employees <br /> must be sure that they know what is expected of them in all such emergency <br /> possibilities which have been planned in order to provide assurance of their <br /> safety from fire and other emergencies. This plan contains the information that <br /> they need to know. <br /> Emergency Escape Procedures and Assignments <br /> Procedures in case of Fire, Wildfire, Tornado, Bomb Threat, Earthquake, <br /> Hazardous Material Emergency and Active Shooter/Robber: <br /> Once employees are notified via the Fire Alarm System or through <br /> direction from their Department Leadership Team: <br /> 1. Employees are to proceed to the nearest available and safe exit and <br /> leave the building as quickly as possible in the event of fire or other <br /> emergency requiring evacuation to achieve safety. Once clear of the <br /> building, employees are to proceed to the closest muster point. All <br /> 5 <br />
