Employee Head Count Procedures
Supervisors must review their department attendance twice a day: Once
approximately '/2 hour into the scheduled start of shift and a second time
approximately '/2 hour after the scheduled return from lunch. Extra attention must
be given to insure our temporary workforce is taken into consideration. All
department leadership must work closely with their Evacuation Directors to
insure all are accounted for. Conduct head counts once evacuation has been
completed.
Emergency Evacuation Directors — Duties
Evacuation Coordinator and Alternate— These two individuals will be in charge of
the overall evacuation. They will give specific direction to the individual directors
and will also work directly with the emergency responders.
Building Directors and Alternates will:
1.) Assist all employees out of the building while methodically(area by area,
room by room) searching their specific area of responsibility to insure all
are out. Good judgement must be used to perform these duties and not
compromise their own safety and well-being.
2.) Once out of harm and at their Muster Point they are to work with
Departmental Supervisors to review and determine that all are accounted
for.
3.) Administer themselves or direct certified First Aid/CPR trained employees
from within their group to attend to the injured. Any injuries need to be
reported to either the Evac Coordinator or his Alternate. Security team will
be responsible for locating employees working out in the yard. They will
take the names of those out in the yard and direct the employees to the
closest Muster Point.
Security Team will:
1.) Patrol the yard and locate any employees working outside. Security will
provide the names of these employees to the Coordinator or Alternate and
will direct the employee(s) to the closest Muster Point.
2.) Continue to provide Security at our entrance.
3.) Direct any Emergency Responders as necessary.
