KEI-P86-112 <br /> November 5 , 1986 <br /> PROPOSAL <br /> FOR <br /> MOBIL TERMINAL <br /> 3505 Navy Drive <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Preliminary Subsurface Investigation <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Kaprealian Engineering, Inc . (KEI) is pleased to submit this <br /> proposal for preliminary subsurface assesment for the subject <br /> site . The purpose of this investigation is to evaluate the <br /> presense of any petroleum contamination below the tank and to <br /> comply with the Regulatory Agencies requirement for possible in <br /> place abandonment of the tank. <br /> PROPOSED TASK <br /> The scope of the proposed program is as follows : <br /> 1 . Coordination with appropriate regulatory agencies for <br /> securing drill permit . <br /> 2 . Drill three ( 3) exploratory borings at various locations <br /> within ten ( 10) feet of the tank. The borings will extend a <br /> minimum depth of two feet below the tank bottom. <br /> 3. Obtain soil samples from each boring at a minimum of <br /> two feet below the tank bottom. If ground water is <br /> encountered , then water samples will be taken from each well . <br /> 4. A technical report describing our field activities , sampling <br /> results with conclusions and recommendations , will be <br /> submitted upon completion of the project . <br />
