kn KLEINFELDER
+ temperature) were intermittently measured. Stabilization of the field parameters indicates
that the static water has been removed from the well so that a representative ground water
sample can be collected. Final field parameter measurements just prior to sampling were:
pH 6.44, electrical conductivity 1730 µmho, and temperature 150 centigrade.
After purging, samples were obtained with a clean disposable Teflon bailer and decanted
finto laboratory-supplied containers. A copy of the purge and sample log is included in
Appendix D. Purge water was placed in an existing drum used for purge water by the
previous consultant. Nor-Cal should provide the analytical results from previous sample
events to the local Department of Public Works to see if the contained water can be
disposed of in the sanitary sewer system.
1
r
FR1-92-15 Page 10 of 21
Copyright 1992 Kleinfelder,Inc.
