� AMBRIA <br /> January 27,2006 <br /> Mr Mike Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Street,Third Floor <br /> Stockton,California 95202 <br /> Re Site Investigation Report <br /> Shell-branded(Independent)Service Station <br /> 2494 East Fremont Street <br /> Stockton,California <br /> SAP Code 136141 <br /> Incident No 98996181 <br /> SJCPHS Site 506171 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) to document the recent site investigation <br /> activities performed at the referenced site The purpose of the investigation was to assess soil <br /> and groundwater conditions north of the subject site Cambria followed part of the scope of <br /> �> work presented in our August 30,2004 Revised Site Investigation Work Plan, which San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD) staff approved in their September 2,2004 <br /> letter to Shell The work was performed in accordance with EHD and Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board(RWQCB)guidelines <br /> During a November 8, 2005 meeting with EHD, Shell, and Cambria, we presented our <br /> preliminary findings from the two soil borings drilled as part of this investigation, which <br /> indicated a possible source of petroleum hydrocarbons was present beneath this site We were <br /> asked by EHD to present our findings to date in a report and to present our case for not installing <br /> the proposed monitoring wells The investigation findings and our conclusions are presented <br /> below <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> The subject property is Iocated on the southwest corner of the intersection of East Fremont Street <br /> and Filbert Street in Stockton, California (Figure 1) The site is an operating Shell-branded <br /> service station with two underground gasoline storage tanks, one underground waste oil tank, <br /> cambric four dispenser islands, and a station building(Figure 2) <br /> Environmental <br /> Technology,Inc <br /> Q Perkins Street <br /> onoma [A 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
