PROCEDURES FOR TRANSFER OF PRODUCT FROM ABOVE GROUND <br /> TANKS 7 & 9 AT 3505 NAVY DRIVE, TO UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK. <br /> 1. Gauge underground tank prior to transferring from above ground tank <br /> and record reading in logbook located in warehouse. <br /> 2. Verify that check valve on containment well fill- pipe, is closed prior <br /> to opening main tank drain valve. <br /> 3. Open main drain valve on above ground tank. <br /> 4. Open check valve on fill pipe to control flow to containment well. <br /> 5. Fill Containment well only to half-way mark ( 11 inches) using gauge <br /> stick to measure, and shut off flow at check valve. <br /> 6. Open valve inside of containment well, to transfer product to <br /> underground tank. <br /> 7. Repeat this process until water is removed by visual verification. <br /> 8. When all water is removed, close main tank drain valve on <br /> aboveground tank and open check valve on fill pipe to purge contents <br /> of fill- pipe into containment well. <br /> 9. Make sure all product is transferred out of containment well, to <br /> underground tank prior to terminating operation. Cover well with <br /> metal cover. <br /> 10.Record number of transfers and estimated gallons of product in log <br /> book. <br /> 11.Re-gauge underground tank and record in logbook. <br />
