A & A Tool Rental .0 • January 4, 1993
Phase II Report of mIngs, Tank and Line Area Re-excavation Page 2
All samples in the tank excavation, and the fuel line trench were verified as "none
' detected" by Geo-Monitor Laboratories Incorporated.
As part of this report we have enclosed laboratory data, site diagrams, and re-
excavation diagrams.
' The soils in the spoils pile have been sampled and are being analyzed for TPH Diesel,
EPA methods 8010 and 8020, as well as heavy metals. One sample for each fifty cubic
yards were obtained in accordance with the Forward Landfill Disposal site
' requirements. We anticipate that the analytical data will allow for disposal at the
Forward site in Stockton, California. When the samples are completed, all of the soils
' will be disposed of at the Forward site.
We will forward copies of all laboratory data, transportation manifests and acceptance
' receipts from the landfill to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
' 3.0 RECOMMENDATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS
WHF Environmental Consultants Inc., respectfully requests that a closure letter on this
site be issued by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department upon
receipt of the disposal acceptance receipts for the soil. Re-excavation has removed the
contaminated soils, and no threat to human health or the environment is now present at
the site.
Prepared By:
' Steven J.
