18 November 1999
- AGE-NC Project No. 97-0327
3.5. RECEPTOR SURVEY
A receptor survey will be performed to locate potential ground water receptors within a 2,000-foot
radius of the site. The results of the receptor survey will compliment ongoing assessment activities
and assist in evaluating appropriate corrective action.
3.6. PREPARATION OF REPORT OF FINDINGS
Following each quarterly ground water monitoring/sampling event, a quarterly report will be
prepared presenting the findings and submitted to the PHS-EHD for review. The quarterly reports
will include a description of work performed and the results of the soil/groundwater sampling and
analysis. Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality
assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be
presented in a quarterly report. Conclusions and recommendations will also be included in the
reports, if applicable. The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and the RWQCB,
and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist.
4.0. Disposal altem-atives will
be evaluated based on results of soil and water analysis.
4.2. SOIL SAMPLING
Soil samples will be collected at five-foot intervals, beginning at a depth of 10 feet bsg, utilizing a
California split-spoon sampler and brass sleeves. The sampler will be driven by dropping a 140-
pound weight from a height of 30 inches (blow counts). The blow counts will be recorded on boring
— Advanced CeoEmironmental,Inc.
