d,a;
07 April 2000
.. AGE-NC Project No. 97-0327
Page 4 of 4
• MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 are"properly screened", and yield samples fully representative of
shallow ground water conditions.
• Concentrations of dissolved TPH-g were barely detectable at wells MW-1 and MW-2;based
on data collected in the area bound by wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3, concentrations of
dissolved TPH-g appear to increase from the northeast to the southwest (Figure 4).
' Conversely, concentrations of dissolved TPH-d appear to increase from the southwest
,. towards the northeast (Figure 4).
Very low concentrations of dissolved MTBE and TBA appear to be present in the area of
monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3.
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
' Based upon data collected from the site in February 2000, AGE recommends:
• Continued quarterly monitoring of ground water monitoring wells MW-1,MW-2 and MW-3.
The next ground water monitoring event is tentatively scheduled for May 2000.
A search for all potential ground water receptors within a 2,000-foot radius of the site.
0 Installation of three additional ground water monitoring wells; the wells should be installed
further south-southwest of MW-2 (downgradient), further north-northwest of MW-2
(crossgradient)and east-northeast of MW-3 (upgradient) to delineate adsorbed and. dissolved
f petroleum hydrocarbon impact.
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic
4 conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of
'f available data points (i.e. monitoring wells), and subsurface conditions may vary away from these
data- p.:: ,,o
olnts..
