Odor noted by inspector on site, described as <br /> similar to paint thinner. Analytical results from collected samples were <br /> non-detect at elevated detection limits. <br /> 03/22/90 Tank pit area re-excavated and soil samples collected; results were <br /> positive for toluene at max concentration of .035 milligrams per kilogram. <br /> Site not removed from contaminated site list. <br /> 06/10/93 Prospective buyer of the site submitted a work plan for over-excavation. <br /> 06/15/93 Site work performed, original tank excavation deepened to 22-feet bsg. <br /> Selected soil samples from 17-22 feet bsg were analyzed. Results were <br /> positive for petroleum hydrocarbons at concentrations up to 6,900,000 <br /> micrograms per kilogram xylene, and for total extractable petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (noted as mineral spirits) at concentrations up to 11,000 <br /> milligrams per kilogram. <br /> 06/30/93 UAR #93-U35 filed this date. <br /> 07/02/93 Prop 65 #93-093 filed this date. <br /> 07/09/93 NOR and letter of acknowledgement sent to Buffalo Tank Corp at site <br /> address. <br /> 09/17/93 NOR (CAP letter) sent to Buffalo Tank Corp c/o bankruptcy attorneys in <br /> Baltimore. <br /> 05/14/96 Site entered into LOP program this date. <br /> 03/03/97 Property goes into tax delinquency in July 1997, will be sold by county. <br /> 04/24/98 Property sold to Valley Properties. OR#-98047671 <br /> 01/07/99 NOR and Site Letter sent this date to Valley Properties via certified mail, <br /> included a directive to submit a work plan.
