Now don't get
too excited about it. There's rules about using/continuing to use an issued
permit after the proposed work was done.
Typically, permits are limited to, and get finalled when they meet any ONE
of the following:
1-end of phase, as described in the approved work plan, (i.e. you said four
borings and DID four borings)
2-one year since issued,
3-change in C-57 contractor,
4- change from type of boring (as in, started as push points and now you
want to install monitoring wells)..big difference from original proposal...and
5- EHE) typically needs to see Ahy (as in review the report of the-first
phase, or in your case, the second mobe) before we grant permission to
continue to drill for more data on a permit NOT necessarily designed for
multiple phases. If you can convince EHD, for example, that the 'hits' from
the f irst set of borings were really a surprise (atypical chromatographs,
anomalies, halogenated spikes, etc), holding time problems, or you'd like to
try deeper or more laterally, or bad data/problems at the lab, or change of
drilling equip due to refusal, etc...SEE?
If you can't convince me you're just not trying to save $89 or if you fit into
one of the 5 above, well, be prepared to annie up $89 and an application
again, along with a work plan addendum.
I don't need anything from you to sample the 'drinking' water well, so you
can get out there any time you can. I don't need to be there either.
Drinking water (Series 500) laboratory protocols are different from general
