Specifically, the following guidance has been incorporated into tate Work Plan
(attached) to ensure that groundwater data collected will confirm closure of the site:
Applicable permit(s) for installation of a fourth well at the site w171 be
obtained from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services.
The new well will be screened from the bottom of the well to a depth of from
5 to 10 feet above the groundwater surface to accommodate future
fluctuations in groundwater elevation and to permit installation of a sufficient
sanitary seal to prevent surface water infiltration.
Particle size of the filter media used to pack the annulus will be selected so
as to be able to adequately filter out sediment after sufficient well
development has occurred. Well development will include swabbing and
purging until reasonably free of suspended solids.
H:\0AT0L\GNAa.E\WP\sT0CKT0NY"SHACK
