Y
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
I_duncan@sjcehd .com
(209) 468-0337 phone
(209) 468-3433 fax
i
From : Olivia Jacobs [mailto :OJacobs@clearwatergroup.com]
Sent: Tuesday, February 08, 20116 : 11 PM
To: Lori Duncan [EH]
Cc: Randy Kirby
Subject: Barnes Trucking Project; Extraction wells - question about any water district fees
Lori-
We recently started an extraction project located in the Santa Clara Valley Water
District. That District is charging for the use of the water, as though the water were
being used for irrigation , even though it is a dry cleaner clean up site.
Please could you inform whether there is any agency involved in Stockton , from
whom we need to acquire such a permit.
We are trudging through all of the permitting which the City of Stockton is requiring to
access the stubbed out lateral , to install wells next to existing wells at the Fire
Department side of the street; I think this is much harder than the CVRWQCB
permitting ! On the sunny side , we did recently receive the discharge permit from the
City of Stockton M . U . D . If you would like a copy of it (200 some pages) I will be
happy to forward it to you .
At your convenience, about whether any other agency is involved .
Thanks.
Olivia
2/9/2011
