The Monitoring and Reporting Program (Sept. 20 10) produced to the CVRWQCB and copied to your office, required compliance zone wells (see the Table of proposed wells on page 4 and also Figure 7) . These would be wells adjacent to existing wells MW-7 and 8 in the sidewalk by the Fire Station; these are wells located in a downgradient position of the inj ection area with screen in the anticipated zone of chemical delivery/possible impact - 10 to 30 feet bgs. I am currently editing the four sets of welliboring permits : injection points, extraction wells, onsite transition monitoring wells and off site compliance wells. Please let me know right away if any part of this is not correct. We will request the transition wells to be on site, as the placement in the ditch, in the easement, would require additional encroachment permits and would be technically difficult for the driller to install. We will follow up with the water purveyor. Please advise about the wells. Thanks. I don't recall approving any wells on the east side of the street. 2/9/2011
