(AGE)has prepared this
work plan addendum to install additional ground water monitoring wells in the vicinity of 308 North
Grant Street,Stockton,California.AGE has prepared and secured City of Stockton revokable permit
(07-14W-attached) to installpKtwo monitoring wells within the sidewalk area east of well MW-4
and near boring CPT3. AGE has secured an encroachment permit (71802) for the same purpose.
Additionally,AGE has secured access to install one shallow monitoring well within the warehouse
at 825 East Miner Avenue. AGE will not have access into the shop/service bay at 308 North Grant
Street. The location of the site and the proposed well locations are presented on Figures 1 and 2.
AGE proposes to install one well near well MW-4(former UST#2 area-Tanks B and C)to a total
of approximately 120 feet below surface grade, based on the data collected from CPT2. The depth
of 110 feet to 120 feet bsg for a screen length was designated as hydrogeologic unit 4,comprised of
sand. The installation of the well screen to this depth will allow for a vertical profile of impacted
ground water and may justify additional deeper wells, near the former UST release areas.Analytical
data collected from the representative CPT borings demonstrate the dissolved contamination
increased with depth. This phenomenon could be an indicator of cross section, water migration
during sampling (exposure of the hydropunch sampler); while wells later installed and sampled
represent minor detections(or typically no detections)across these sampled intervals.AGE does not
currently propose deeper wells, until a database is collected to justify that action.
Therefore, AGE proposes the installation of monitoring wells in the following configurations:
• Installation of one shallow monitoring well (Hydrogeologic unit 1 at 30-50 feet bsg),
downgradient of the site within the warehouse at 825 East Miner Avenue.
837 Shaw Road.Stocktcm.Ca6lbrnia 9j21-1
"1'elephona(209)467-1006 Fax (209)467-1 I 18
