INTRODUCTION <br /> On behalf of Mr. Charles Skobrak, the property owner,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) <br /> has prepared this work plan for interim soil remediation at 308 North Grant Street, Stockton, <br /> California(site). The scope of work includes installation of an interim soil vapor extraction(SVE) <br /> remediation system at the site. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site <br /> is illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> Based on the results of a soil vapor extraction pilot test performed at the site on 17 January 2006, <br /> AGE previously made recommendations to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(SJCEHD)that an interim remediation work plan be prepared for soil vapor extraction. <br /> The SJCEHD approved AGE's recommendation for interim soil vapor extraction and directed that <br /> an interim remediation work plan be submitted, SJCEHD letter dated 21 June 2006. <br /> The purpose of this workplan is to detail the design,installation and operation of a catalytic oxidizer <br /> soil vapor extraction (SVE) system for soil vapor remediation. The historical analytical results of <br /> vapor well soil samples are summarized in Table 1; while the analytical results of the soil vapor <br /> extraction samples are summarized in Table 2. This work plan has been prepared in accordance with <br /> guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for <br /> investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based on the results of the above-referenced SVE pilot test performed at the site on 17 January 2006, ' <br /> AGE proposes to install,operate and maintain an interim SVE remediation system utilizing existing <br /> SVE wells VW-2A,VW-3 �5A,VW-5B d existing groundwater extraction well EW-1. <br /> 13'20 ger <br /> The interim`remediation field ties l consist of the following tasks: <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Installation of underground remediation piping system; <br /> • Installation of soil vapor extraction system; <br /> • Interim remediation start-up period; <br /> • Monitoring and maintenance; <br /> • Preparation of reports. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvirr <br />
