FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> The proposed location of the SVE unit will be in the vicinity of the northern section of the site <br /> (Figure 2),which will allow the property owners of the Larry's Auto site to conduct their day to day <br /> business without interference from the operation of the SVE remediation system.The SVE interim <br /> remediation system will be secured by a chain-linked, gated enclosure approximately 6 feet wide, <br /> 15 feet long and six feet high.A dedicated electrical meter will be installed to connect directly to the <br /> SVE unit. <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Professional Geologist. Procedures for SVE system installation, underground piping installation, <br /> start-up period, and weekly/monthly operation and maintenance procedures are described below. <br /> 3.1. PERMITTING <br /> An Authority To Construct and Permit to Operate application for a site-specific permit will be <br /> submitted to the SJVAPCD prior to initiation of the remediation project. In addition, required <br /> permits will be obtained from the COSPWD, including electrical installations. A minimum of 48 <br /> hours notice will be given to the SJCEHD prior to performing any field work requiring an EHD <br /> inspection. <br /> 3.2.
