V •� Work Plan Addendum LARRY'S AUTO 308 North Grant Street, Stockton, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr. Charles Skobrak,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. (AGE)has prepared this work plan addendum for 308 North Grant Street, Stockton, California(site). The revised scope of work includes the advancement of an additional ground water extraction well and associated pumping test. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. Additional site background information is provided in Appendix A. The San Joaquinunty Environmental Health Department (EHD) has directed by letters dated and August 2005 that revisions be considered for the AGE-prepared Well Installation 2�oe4 and Feasibility Study Work Plan-November 2004, dated 19November2004(AGE,November2004) and that a work plan addendum be prepared (Appendix B). This work plan has been prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks(UST) sites. AGE concurs with the EHD's recommendation for an additional extraction well (EW-2), to be placed near the proposed extraction well EW-I.The additional well is to be advanced to a total depth of 73 feet below surface grade (bsg); the screen interval would be placed at approximately 58 feet to 73 feet bsg (Figure 2). AGE concurs with the EHD's recommendation to conduct continuous core samples in the proposed screen locations to assure proper placement of screen intervals. AGE concurs with the EHD's recommendation to complete an appropriate pump test on the second discrete screened extraction well. 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK The proposed changes to the original work plan (AGE, November 2004) are as follows: • An additional extraction well EW-2 will be installed near the first extraction well (EW-1); installation procedures shall be as described in the November 2004 AGE workplan.The well will be installed to a depth of 73 feet bsg, and screened from 58 feet to 73 feet bsg. • The original work plan proposed that the soil encountered in the pilot boring will be collected at five foot intervals using a California modified split-spoon sampler fitted with three 2-inch diameter, 6-inch long brass sleeves. At the request of the EHD,the pilot borings will be sampled continuously through the zones of lithologic interest for the screen placement in each well.
