Duplicate Groundwater Samples
Duplicate groundwater samples will be collected and analyzed
to track the consistency in field sampling techniques. The
duplicate samples will be collected immediately after the
primary ry sample at the same location, using the same sampling
equipment and procedures. In accordance with the District's
Sampling Plan, duplicates will be taken for 10% of the
i.: groundwater samples obtained.
5. Chain-of-Custody Record
A chain-of-custody record for each container or sample will
be used to track possession of the samples from the time they
=' were collected in the field until the time they are analyzed
in the laboratory.
The chain--of-custody record will contain the following
! in-formation:
1. Site Name
j 2. Signature of collector
3. Date and time of collection
4. Sample identification number(s)
5. Number of containers in sample set
F, 6.
