Human Health Risk Assessment <br /> Former Mobil Oil Bulk Plant 04-343 <br /> 500 East Grant Line Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> These qualitative factors, in conjunction with the results of the hum,.,., health risk assessment <br /> form the basis for the final remediation plan presented herein. In essence, this approach <br />' incorporates a passive remedial technique, which relies on natural prr,cesses to decontaminate <br /> impacted soil and ground water. The purpose of this approach is to ,provide a cost-effective <br /> mechanism which is capable of evaluating the effectiveness of prey ious remedial activities <br /> undertaken at this site. The natural processes which are likely to contribute to the reduction of <br /> hydrocarbon concentrations include biodegradation, adsorption, Itspersion/dilution, and <br />' volatilization.
