CPL intends to begin <br /> destroying these 15 wells beginning 22 September with work completing around 25 September <br /> 1998. The wells will be destroyedin accordance with San Joaquin County standards, and <br /> under permits from your office and the City of Tracy (encroachment.permit). Destruction will <br /> be accomplished by overdrilling the casing and annular fill materials,pulling the casing from <br /> the ground, and filling the boreholes with cement grout to within 3 feet of the surface. The <br /> upper 3 feet of each borehole will be filled with soil. Enclosed with the'letter are: <br /> • two completed application forms for destruction of wells <br /> • a check for$120 ($60 per application) <br /> • well location map <br /> • 23 July 1998 Letter from CPL to the RWQCB <br /> • Letter confirming approval for well abandonment dated 11 September.1998 <br /> • .A copy of the City of Tracy Encroachment permit dated 1 September 1998 <br /> Work is scheduled to occur from-22 September to 25 September 1998.We look forward to your <br /> approval of this work plan and the well destruction permits at your earliest opportunity.
