As Mr. Philip S. Isorena of the <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board—Central Valley Region(RWQCB) <br /> informed Chevron in an email dated November 8,2001, he indicated to you that he approved <br /> the decommissioning of these two wells. The well materials will be drilled out using a <br /> hollow-stem auger rig. The boreholes will be grouted with neat bentonite-cement slurry froin <br /> the bottom of the boreholes to the ground surface.
