1 SITE HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN 541. West Grant Line Road ' Tracy, California 1.0 INTRODUCTION This Health & Safety Plan (HSP) was prepared in accordance with the California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title S, Section 5192 and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Title 29, Section 1914 120 This HSP addresses the anticipated activities to be conducted by Treadwell & Rollo for the 541 West Grant Line Road (Site) project located in Tracy, California (Figure 1) ' This plan has been written for use by Treadwell & Rollo field personnel who will provide oversight for the tasks associated with the Site investigation program The purpose of the HSP is ' to provide Treadwell &Rollo field personnel with an understanding of the potential chemical and physical hazards, health and safety procedures, and emergency response to hazards should ' they occur ' The information in this HSP is provided solely for the health and safety protection of Treadwell &Rollo employees on this project Treadwell & Rollo assumes no liability for, or responsibility ' to, any other parties for the accuracy or completeness of the information contained herein for any use or reliance upon this HSP by any other party This HSP will be kept onsite during field activities and will be reviewed and updated as necessary This HSP shall be modified or amended when circumstances or conditions develop that are beyond the scope of this plan Any changes in project work scope and/or site conditions as described shall be amended in writing ' 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION The Site property is located at 541 West Grant Line Road in Tracy, California (Figure 1) The 1 6 acre property is an elongated strip of land approximately 125 feet wide by 595 feet long (Figure 2) The site is generally flat with ground surface elevations between approximately 21 to Site Health&Safety Plan 1 08/14/03 TREADWELL& ROLLO,INC
