KLEINFELD€ R
• Perform hydrogeological surveys needed to assess the existence of non-potable
ground water that could be available for the Project.
• Contact irrigation districts, and water conservation districts to explore possibilities
of water that might be available through existing water contracts that may be on
the existing properties.
• Work with Stockton East Water District in defining possible measures through
ground water recharge that can benefit the Project's water supply needs.
• Perform additional soils analysis, such as percolation tests, that are needed to
determine soil permeability. This would specifically be for assessing the
groundwater recharge potential of the lake features.
• With the assistance from the other consultants, provide a complete assessment
of the amount of water that will be required by the various land uses within the
Project.
• With assistance from the other consultants, prepare a draft IWMP report that will
be available to all Project consultants for review and comment. After edits,
submit second draft to City officials for review and comment. Pursue approval by
City staff.
Prepare a separate report sufficient in detail to be used as part of the Project EIR
processing.
TASK 6 — REPORTING
Kleinfelder will prepare several reports for PCCPML. One report will document the
installation and sample results of the shallow monitoring wells and another report will
document the drilling and testing of the test boring water zones. We will prepare a
Water Conservation Plan as a separate report, along with an Integrated Water
Management Plan (IWMP).
Upon completion of groundwater monitoring well installation, sampling, and receipt and
review of analytical results, a report will be prepared for the client. The report will
include:
• A description of field activities, observations, and protocols;
• Results of the sample analysis with copies of certified analytical laboratory
results with chain-of-custody documentation;
• Description and documentation of QA/QC procedures employed for field and
laboratory work; and
02001 PROP.ENV/ST05P346R/JDZ:Iv Page 8 of 12
©2005 Kleinfelder, Inc.
