ylf!I) <br /> SHARP Management Manual <br /> \A I <br /> 'R■ Former Tracy MGP Project Safety Plan (PSP) <br /> SECTION 7 - SAFETY TRAINING <br /> 7.1 PROJECT SAFETY ORIENTATION <br /> The Parsons Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Project Safety Manager conducts the site- <br /> specific orientation for all new Parsons staff and subcontractor management personnel. <br /> The Orientation takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and consists of applicable owner, <br /> Parsons, and regulatory reference material, including: <br /> • Owner — Contractor Safety Program and Manual of Safety Regulations Handbook and <br /> security requirements <br /> • Applicable OSHA 1910 General Industry and 1926 Construction Regulations and others <br /> as required <br /> • Parsons applicable requirements, including items covered in Section 4.2 <br /> • Subcontractor requirements <br /> All visitors must receive a brief orientation as described in Section 4.2, and be escorted by the <br /> Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Safety Manager or a designee familiar with the <br /> potential hazards on the project. <br /> Subcontractors must conduct similar orientations for their staff and craft employees and must <br /> document all orientations using the Employee/Subcontractor Training Acknowledgement and <br /> sample form (Exhibit 7-1). The Project Safety Orientation for work to be conducted under this <br /> Plan is provided in Appendix B. The Project Manager maintains the orientation documents and <br /> acknowledgement forms. <br /> 7.2 PARSONSU SAFETY MODULES AND START TRAINING — ZERO INCIDENT <br /> TECHNIQUES <br /> Consistent with Parsons corporate initiatives in safety training, the Project Manager will identify <br /> all applicable personnel (i.e. managers, engineers and supervisors, including subcontractor <br /> personnel), that shall be current in the completion of safety modules on ParsonsU and that should <br /> receive START trainingto further Parsons' goal of zero incidents. <br /> The GBU and Division Safety Manager serve as the certified trainers for periodic START <br /> training sessions for new personnel. They should be contacted if personnel need to receive <br /> training. <br /> 36 <br />
