The first five feet in these
borings will be hand augered to a depth of approximately 5 feet bgs; and
• Samples will be collected at 1, 3, 5, 10 and 15 feet in each boring (depth of impact
observed in on-site boring A3-2) and will be analyzed for PAHs using EPA Method
8270C Selective Ion Monitoring and TPH using EPA Method 8015.
• 1 soil boring(AOI4-10) will be hand angered to a depth of approximately 3 feet bgs.
• Samples will be collected at 1 and 3 feet in each boring (depth of impact observed in on-
site boring E2-2) and will be analyzed for PAHs using EPA Method 8270C Selective Ion
Monitoring and TPH using EPA Method 8015.
AOI-5
• One soil boring (AOI5-4) will be hand augered to a depth of approximately 3 feet bgs
near the southern end of the Site to further delineate impacts identified in Preliminary
Assessment Sample 1; and
• Samples will be collected at 1 and 3 feet in each boring (depth of impact observed in on-
site boring E2-2) and will be analyzed for PAHs using EPA Method 8270C Selective Ion
Monitoring and Title 22 Metals using EPA Method 6010/7000.
AOI-6
• Two soil borings (A0I6-3 through A0I64) will be hand augered to a depth of
approximately 3 feet below ground surface (bgs) inside the warehouse to the east of
Boring A3-SG3; and
• Samples will be collected at 1 and 3 feet in this boring (depth of impact observed in on-
site boring A3-SG3) and will be analyzed for PAHs using EPA Method 8270C Selective
Ion Monitoring.
All environmental borings will be screened for impact via visual, olfactory and/or PID readings;
will be backfilled with portland cement with 5% bentonite as required by the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Division; and the surface will be returned to conditions existing
prior to soil boring operations.
