3 Lateral log <br /> The completed geophysical logs shall show the resistivity and temperature of the drilling <br /> fluid at the time of logging <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> 3 01 PREPARATION <br /> Before running geophysical logs, cease drilling and circulate drilling fluid for one hour <br /> 3 02 GEOPHYSICAL LOGGING <br /> A The geophysical logs shall become the property of the City at the time the <br /> logging is completed Run the logs in the presence of the Engineer Provide a <br /> copy of the log to the Engineer at the time of logging Provide the City with five <br /> copies of each geophysical log, one reproducible original, and one electronic <br /> DXF file on 3 112-inch diskette at no additional cost within five days following <br /> logging Also, provide a written interpretation by a representative of the logging <br /> firm trained in making such interpretations within five days following logging <br /> B Provide whatever assistance as may be required to accomplish the geophysical <br /> logging including fluid circulation, removal of drill string, and operation of drilling <br /> rig as needed to support logging cable sheave wheel <br /> SECTION 11 —WATER QUALITY SAMPLING (Bid Item No A5 & 135) <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 101 DESCRIPTION <br /> This section includes materials for and execution of water quality sampling The <br /> Engineer will determine which strata will be isolated and sampled for water quality <br /> 1 02 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> Water Quality Sampling shall be measured on the actual number (of samplings) basis <br /> Measurement will be based on the actual number of samplings taken The contract unit <br /> pace paid for Water Quality Sampling (Bid Item No s A5 & 65) shall include full <br /> compensation for conforming to these requirements, furnishing all the labor, materials, <br /> tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work involved in Water Quality <br /> Sampling (isolated aquifer water quality sampling), including performing all work detailed <br /> in the Contractor's submitted sampling procedure, reviewed and approved by the <br /> Engineer, complete in place, as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special <br /> provisions and as directed by the Engineer and no additional compensation will be <br /> allowed <br /> PART 2 - MATERIALS <br /> 2 01 FILL MATERIAL <br /> A Material used to fill the test holes shall consist of hard, durable, clean sand or pea <br /> gravel and shall be free of organic material, clay balls, and other deleterious <br /> substances <br /> August 2001 Division 111 -14 Bali Park& Park& Ride Wells Ph 1 <br />
